This is the channel for reaching the Foco Rojo newsroom. We use it for four things: replies from people or companies named in a case file, factual corrections, document submissions and case proposals. We aim to answer legitimate messages within roughly 24 to 48 working hours.
Right of reply
If you appear in a case file, or represent someone who does, you can send us your version. State the URL of the piece, the paragraph you refer to and the documents supporting your position. Substantive replies are added to the text with attribution and date, and the key-facts block is updated if the status of a proceeding changes.
Corrections
Every fact in our files carries a source and a date. If you spot an error, an outdated figure or a later court decision we have not recorded, tell us where it is and attach or link the source. We review every notice and publish the correction with its date.
Documents and proposals
We accept judgments, resolutions, company registry records, contracts and other public or public-interest documents. We also take proposals for case files that fit our sections: early warnings, cases without closure, whistleblowers and witnesses, and case tracking. We cannot guarantee publication, but we do guarantee a reading.
Form
The form sends your message to the newsroom’s mailbox. The data you provide is processed under our privacy policy and used only to reply to you. The form labels are in Spanish; you may write in English.

What we do not handle here
We do not provide legal or financial advice, we do not publish paid content and we do not act as intermediaries with the institutions named in our files. Enquiries about our sister outlets should go to Auditoría Abierta, Bajo Lupa or Bajo Lupa Digital.
